My religion teacher (Catholic) says the book of revelations is not to literally. She says It is a story of pilght or retribution by the Early Christians during the perseuctions under Emperor Nero. But that does not mean it's just a story, some the events that are recorded in the book have already come to past, are now happening, and are yet to come. Obviously the events are not to be taken as truth but events similar to them "are to happen". I think thats how she said it
