Default Rudolf Steiner, Rosicrucianism and Christ

    Hello all,

What many of you don't know about my studies, is the fact of my ventures into Esotericism.

Esotericism, especially that of Dr. Rudolf Steiner, teaches us to experientially come to a place where certain phaenomena occur externally due to an INTERNAL development.

Dr. Steiner was a Rosicrucian or someone who believe that the Christ was real and that higher dimensions DO exist and that God is the source of all creation. In fact, God according to Dr. Steiner, evolves!

For those interested, a text called "The secret teachings of the Rosicrucians of the 16th and 17th centuries" exists and is available for purchase and/or free download if I'm not mistaken. This is quite a deep text and is alchemical in nature which means that the subtle energy system: IE.Chakras, Nadis, etc. are utilized albeit in an obscured way on purpose!

To continue in regards to Rosicrucianism, Christ, according to Dr. Steiner's teachings, came and was crucified and his crucifixion was THE pivitol point in the "evolution" of mankind. Dr. Steiner so much so stressed Christ that he said that if someone in this life did NOT find the Christ "it would be waste."

It is interesting that NO atheists ever mention this vein of spirituality.
In Dr. Steiner, we see a man who gave clear directions of inner development which were meant to "birth" humanity into a new level of perception AND being.

His teachings and exercises, per se, were meant to show a regular person that God, multiple dimensions, thought-will-emotion (a triangle), etc. matter and are of utmost importance.

    Rosicrucianism is certainly interesting.
Its integration of Jewish mysticism and Hermeticism, particularly, laid the foundations for later occult and esoteric movements, such as those in the late 19th Century and early 20th. Which had a big impact in that period of time.

    Why?

Firstly, why would atheists bring up a vein of spirituality anyway - we are concerned with reason and validation by evidence, not this or that of the hundreds of thousands of different sects and schools of every faith. We don't care about any particular one.

Secondly, Rosicrucianism is so obscure and bizarre a sect - so esoteric - that I doubt one person in a hundred on the street has even heard of it. So what would be the point in mentioning it in an argument?

    @Cluny,

If Dr. Steiner has said paraphrasingly "Do this stuff and see what happens" then why don't YOU experientially try it now that I've mentioned it?

OR have you already made up your mind?
Using wisdom and logic does make sense but YOU have to do what people say to do. Otherwise, you are stuck in your own brains and refuse to come out into the world, be that world "Subjective" or "Objective" both are true.

Besides isn't being inquisitive and experiential/experimental the scientific way?....

I have read this post through three times. On the third time I did it one fragment of a sentence at a time. I still cannot figure out what it's talking about.

Rosicrucianism is a foil. Like the Priory of Sion. Or Trinity.
