    Default New government

    If you could change your coutry's government what would you chose, don't forget to give the name of your country after you've voted. I've added a few made up ones to make a customised government if you like;

Constitual monarchy(monarchist)-more power to the monarchy but parliament still resticts their powers JUST
Constitual monarchy(parliament)-parliament has a iron grip on the monarchy, a puppet figure
Constitual monarchy(non-biased)- monarchy has a fair amont of power parliament still restricts power though, like Britain

Communist(Fair)-a more fairer Communist government than other ones e.g China, USSR
Communist(Biased)-the state of Chinas' government now
How far will I go for Rome? At least to the end of the street, I hate walking

I'd have to go with absolute monarchy. Let the Ruler take care of the military and foriegn affairs while the parliment gets some tax to fix roads and maintain order. I hate when the government intervenes in peoples daily lives. And I hate when you know someone will push your country down the wrong road, yet they get elected.

Plus, if I'm ruler I want to be just that. THE RULER!!!

(no little people always fussing about what I should do)

At HailThor- Move to Texas. Then you can shoot the guy so he can't testify against you. That's what cops tell us to do in the US. And if they manage to get onto the lawn, pull them back in the house so it is still tresspassing.

Same here, remain as we are. Parliamentary/non-biased monarchy, which are both the same I think?

Mix of socialism and democracy. Government should be more involved into economy, but private freedom should be absolute - legalised drugs, firearms, etc. That should give the mafia a mortal blow, they'll have nothing to trade with. Gun license should be like car license. People should be allowed to do anything, unless it hurts others. Also people should be allowed more self-protection. In Canada, if burglar breaks into my house, falls on a sleepy floor and injurs himslef, he has a right to sue me! Thats BS and it should be changed.

First off, there is no such thing as "communist" government. Secondly, a "free country" is anarchy.

    Voted Federal Republic

    I voted other.

    Constitutional Republic- Any country.

Democracy is nothing more than 51% voting the other 49% into oppression, and accomplishes nothing save allowing the elected leadership the ability to spread their demagogues to the people to fear monger them into an elected dictatorship that soon is no longer elected. Democracy is soon slipped into totalitarianism.

In a true "Democratic Republic," one can elect to overthrow the 'republic' by a 51% vote. Thus any law or constitution that limits power to the head of state and government can be taken by the steps Hitler instilled, by making the people live in fear of internal and external forces, and convincing them that to be safe, they must temporarily vote away the laws that keep them free. They find out when it is too late that their liberty is gone.

What is essential to a free people is a Constitutional Republic; one where the people are determined to live free, and thus emplace laws that protect that; laws that can not be breached or thrown away. The governing body must be elected and made up of people that will ensure that these laws are respected and followed.
Yes, I hate the fact RTW is out and I still have a Japanese title. Come on now admins- let's get with the program.

Dictatorship, republic, I don't really care, as long as it's libertarian.
The powers delegated by the proposed Constitution to the federal government are few and defined. Those which are to remain in the State governments are numerous and indefinite. The former will be exercised principally on external objects, as war, peace, negotiation, and foreign commerce; with which last the power of taxation will, for the most part, be connected. The powers reserved to the several States will extend to all the objects which, in the ordinary course of affairs, concern the lives, liberties, and properties of the people, and the internal order, improvement, and prosperity of the State. - James Madison
