    Default Pakistan's 9/11

Today was the marking of Pakistan's 9/11. Hopefully this will show the world that not all Muslims are for Terrorists.

We will fight them where ever they will turn up. And we will fight them without anybody elses help. American shouldn't invade us or we'll classify them as Terrorists alongside these dogs who blew up wanting to kill women and children. This is a Pakistani problem and will be dealt by Pakistan!

There has been no claim of responsibility so far, but the BBC's Shoaib Hasan, in Islamabad, says the key suspects are the Pakistan Taleban who operate in the north-west of the country.
    *surprise, surprise*

If you would have followed the news and political events of the recent years, you should know that Pakistani government is struggling with the terrorism of Taleban forces just as much as US troops in Afghanistan.

And we have lost many a brave Pakistani life fighting them. We do not need the boots of Americans stepping on the soil of Pakistan and lighting the whole of the country in a Jihad agianst the Americans.

Pakistani's have always dealt well with their borders and wil do so now. Just like we defeated Balouch terrorist groups we will defeat this one.

    Edit:

That doesn't make any sense. Your comparing it to America's 9/11, because your using 9/11. The attack did not occur on 9/11. It occured on 9/20? Lol.

No but countless lives of brave and innocent Pakistani men, women and children were lost. In my book this is just a big attack on Pakistan as America's 9/11.

And since 9/11 is the tool to describe any terror attack that is remembered, hence the useage.

Unless of course you think that the Pakistani people are to be laughed at?

Too say your comparing one attack, which I would consider quite small by comparison to the 9/11 attacks, ya, I find the idea of comparison a joke.

If you say so, but we are trying to help pakistan against the taleban.

How is it any different from all the others that see, to happen every day? It doesnt change anything, 9/11 started the war on terror, this attack is just a product of the Taleban insurgency.
A new mobile phone tower went up in a town in the USA, and the local newspaper asked a number of people what they thought of it. Some said they noticed their cellphone reception was better. Some said they noticed the tower was affecting their health.

A local administrator was asked to comment. He nodded sagely, and said simply: "Wow. And think about how much more pronounced these effects will be once the tower is actually operational."

I wouldn't really compare that to 9/11. Though drastic, not on the level of 9/11. Just another terrorist attack imo.

This is another proof that the real victims of Islamic terrorism are predominantly Muslims. It is truly sad, for all the victims, their families and the Pakistani people as a whole.

It is wrong to claim that those attacks are a justified retaliation, though it would explain why it happened. Citizens should not be targeted either way.

    I agree.

In a speech in Seattle, George Galloway said that when he tried to talk about why the 9/11 attacks might have happened, people started automatically assuming he was trying to justify them. One can never justify such attacks but it's almost obvious that the Pakistani and NATO bombings of Pashtun villages was the root cause of this heinous act. Hate breeds hate.

Dozens of militants are getting slaughtered, alongside countless numbers of civilians, in Bajaur and Khyber everyday. The tribals aren't an army or a militant group - they're an entire ethnic group up in arms. The only way to curb the violence is by exacting genocide upon the population.

Finishing off a militancy is different from quelling a mass, albeit underground, movement.

Who actually did this remains to be seen. A truck going unnoticed through one of the most secured areas of Islamabad? Could be Al Qaida as well, or the ISI, who have also been mentioned in the Serena hotel bombing in Kabul.

No we haven't they are still there, and still very much in control...of vast areas and roads.

Vast areas and roads directly linked to sanctuaries across the border in Pakistan. Which NATO is not really supposed to mess with.

Could these wild areas/sanctuaries truly even be deemed 'Pakistan'? It's where the Pakistani army fears to tread, apparently.
