    Default OTZ's AoR Mod 2.0 - 09/22 Updated - Patch 2.2

    This is a continuation of the previous thread, found here.

    Please see the previous thread for full list of features.

    This mod is only for Early Era Campaigns.

    You must have SS 6.1 RR/RC installed to play properly.

    It is not compatible with BYG`s GR at the moment.


    Changes for 2.1 include:

    • Includes aduellist's fixes below
    • Added Santiago Sergeants, Santiago Crossbowmen, and Late Crossbowmen to Aragon's unit roster.
    • Fixed missing unit textures (i.e. Berber Spearmen, Archer Militia, Genoese XBow Militia...)
    • Fixed Sanitago Sergeant CTD
    • Added new skins/textures by Burrek
    • Various unit card fixes.
    • Campaign Script fixes.
    • All previous patches included

    Sorry to be the first on it...KOJ has no unit cards and most of them are "slaves".
    Norway--> Edessan Sergeants unit card missing

    In custom battle:

    Edessan for Norway only
    Livonian Aux for HRE
    AND
    Most of the unit info cards are missing for KOJ. (I took the vanilla's version, I'm not playing with the reunified KOJ)

    Can you post the EDU so I can finish and post the files for my minimod? Or you're going to release it this afternoon?

    Thanks aduellist! I'll get these changes in as well. So much work, not enough time, lol.

    I'll get aduellist's fixes in for a release version that will be posted sometime tomorrow.

    If I've 2.0, you're telling me to take aduellist's patch, but is this compatible with TC? If so, what version of it?

    Talking about compatibility:
    It works with XBAI, Y&Y & Royal women...what about...
    - Factions & LEaders V8?
    - Noborders minimod?

    I notices (u also did) that TC compatibility is not 100%. New units haven't captains, I wonder if you can ask TC owner to give a hint, coz I think it's a very cool adition!

    If you grabbed aduellist's fix, it should be compatible with SSTC. I would recommend grabbing the AoR 2.1 file, and the SSTC files again as I made some significant changes to them in order to get rid of ALL the bugs.

    And yes, the new units don't have officers at this time, but will in a later update.

    It is not compatibile with Faction Leaders (yet) - I need to change a couple of files, but I will get it working.

    No Borders should be ok to use.

    OTZ has re-uploaded, so he can answer whether or not he applied my fixes to the SSTC files. My originals were without SSTC.

    Both of those mods change descr_sm_factions.txt, I think, which this mod also changes. You could probably fold them in, but you'll need to make the changes yourself. The No Borders changes are pretty simple. Just change the "secondary_colour" values to match the "primary_colour" entries for each faction in descr_sm_factions.txt. The "Factions & Leaders" integration is probably more complex, but should be doable.

    Edit: Just looked at the Factions and Leaders thread. Barser includes a guide in the first post with instructions on how to add his sub-mod to other sub-mods. It's quite a few changes, so back up your files before attempting.

    One final fix for KoJ add-on.

    campaign_script.txt

    - removed monitor for fall of Tortosa (Templar capital)
    - replaced "knights_templar" with "jerusalem" for money script entries
    - replaced "knights_templar" with "jerusalem" for capital garrison and reinforcement entries (and adjusted coordinates accordingly)
    - replaced "knights_templar" with "jerusalem" for "Jerusalem Captured" event (you'll now see that movie as soon as you start a campaign, BTW)

    Installation:

    Place campaign_script.txt in Stainless_Steel_6\data\world\maps\campaign\imperial_campaign

    Note: DO NOT use this file unless you have installed the KoJ add-on!!!

    Okay, got a CTD here that's got me puzzled.

    Playing the AoR with KoJ add-on. Set up some 2TPY files to test out, basically most of Tsarsies' files and an EDB in which I doubled the building times. I did not touch the battle_models.modeldb.

    Playing as Kiev and besieged rebel settlement Zhytomyr. At end of siege time, enemy sallies and game CTDs when going to the battle map with the ever-popular "unspecified error". I set my log level to trace and retried. After CTD, the following are the last things in the log:

    No, I think that is my fault in trying to streamline my modeldb file (in order to make SSTC and other mods compatible) - I'll get to work on solving this ASAP.

    EDIT: Patch 2.2 is available - this addresses the problem aduellist has found.

    @ Banzai - I replied to your PM - I'd be more than happy to use those models, they are quite nice.
