Is a mod or the option in a mod to shuffle around the diffrent factiosn starting positions. It would be fun to have Rome in Egypt, Gaul in Carthage, Selecuids in Germany, Parthia in Spain etc.

What do you kids think?

Most likely not, but I think it's possible. Although, some factions do better in their native environments, so you will have a slight advantage over them.

hmm where is the fun of not fighting spartan army s any more? it would be nice to have random startpositions but it is not realy SPQR related hmm? becous this will make it a whole other game.

it s just to get some variety in the game. but it is not realy SPQR related, this is possible for every mod ore the vanilla rtw game becous thy all start in the same places.

maybe change starting positions in some file..... but i think you'll have to mod a lot to do this

Yes not the I really start a new campaign alot, but it would be better than my standard: Kill Hannibal, Kill Theophanes, Fight the Gauls, Capture Siciliy, Fight the Gauls, Invade Greece, Fight the Gauls, Invade Carthage, Fight the Gauls..

Ech026 you could always use "force diplomacy", Allie with the barbs, or even make Gaul an protectorate, then go south on some boats! Put in a fort line in north Italy with a diplomat to keep the peace.
But a better option is to mod the strat file b4 any campaign. Here you can change the starting positions and the starting relationships of each faction, inc moving Hannibal.
If you sick of barb stacks, just mod buildings dat, look for roads, and reduce the trade bonus to 1 on barb roads ie 1st tier. this will almost half the number of stacks.

Ok echo, I got a challange for you. Restart a Roman campaign, take 3 stacks, some boats, and sell up. Raid all roman cities, get as much cash as you can, disband any other troops and hit the med and restart the roman empire somewhere else! I might try this myself when I finish my exsisting campaign. I f you except ill expect a report/AAR on what happened.

Im trying!!! lol. I seriously will try to continue my campaign until I have the whole map (though I don't follow the house rules all the time , but i try). But I just got kingdoms so for now I'll be kickin' some egyptian ass in the crusaders campaign .
