A new mobile phone tower went up in a town in the USA, and the local newspaper asked a number of people what they thought of it. Some said they noticed their cellphone reception was better. Some said they noticed the tower was affecting their health.
A local administrator was asked to comment. He nodded sagely, and said simply: "Wow. And think about how much more pronounced these effects will be once the tower is actually operational."
I may just be tired, but does that say in one paragraph the Obama will win, then further down that McCain will? Someone explain please?
I always find it irritating when people seriously think they could definitely calculate what is surely going to happen. Especially when this is based on "representative" polls, then I am getting slightly infuriated.
@Alakasam: No it doens't. The paragraph that mentioned Obama just revealed that Obama could possibly win more easily than McCain.
The content of the other paragraph though suggests they actually think they can surely predict what is going to happen, but the again it is all pulled out of context, amd maybe they gave a vague prediction aswell, like it is normally always the case, at least until popular media receives and processes the informations, from which point it is not seldomly all bollocks. Sad.
