Why do people cheat...takes away from the joy of the game...the only game I cheat in is Crusader Kings and only when I am too lazy to edit the save file to fix silly claims and what have you...

To spice things up a little? I usually tweak my games with increasing tech, stabilty and all that stuff for several nations. Though I haven't done here yet, and I'll see how it will work out.
Maybe also to speed that annoying war up you'd win anyway. Or because you'd like to gain a foothold with a pity 1/2 province minor, especially useful with the new HRR-system of IN. Given you possess IN, of course.

Because people like to play their own game. People usually tend to listen to themselves on how to play a game and not others, especially not other people they met on a website.
