    No sire, i am working on two separated mods.

    First one primarily features more provinces, stoneforts and few other things.

    The second one is a "big" mod containing the first ones changes with new factions, improved gameplay, a lot of new units/buildings, kingdoms features, new events, religions, strat and battle models and much more.

    As i`ve promised, i`ll take care about duplicating threads. But you may close it if they are to similar.

    Nope, as long as they aren't the same mod you're good to go. Just making sure the boards aren't cluttered with duplicate threads and such. Carry on and good luck.

    The insurgent factions will emerge as opponents of the HRE and Byzantine Empire. In history rebellions of throne pretenders or nobels very often took place in these empires.
    The feature is planned to be similar to the "Barons Alliance"-feature of Kingdoms and the "shadow" empires in Rome:BI.
    They are major nations with all sorts of units/buildings/agents and one or the other special unit.
    F.e.:
    - HRE_I
    Bavarian or Saxon Knights, for the fact that these regions generally were opponents of the reigning emperor.

    - Byz._I
    Paulician Militia & Infantry, a sect, which in history always agitated against the ruling government.

    What the hell is Kars doing in Georgia?!

    Anyways it seems good, maybe I'm going to come an idea for another mod.

    @eddie
    wasn`t kars the main town in the province called Lazika (Byzantine Name)?
    But you`re right i`m just on working, if the mod is completed i`ll have to make a lot of correction work .

    @Boztorgai_Khan
    I`m very interested in these tribes (they`ve a lot of potential for gameplay ); thought about implementing "Petschenegen" and "Uzen" (don`t no the english term ), but faction limit is a problem.

    Do you think one of my planned factions should be replaced?

    What is the Start date ?

    Petschenegen = Pechenegs was a Uzen = Oghuzes tribe later mixed with Kimaks = Kipchaks, Kypchaks, CUMANS

    Maybe you can Add Mongols or Volga Bulgars

    Before I might forget, I'll throw in another correction - Varna (from the Bulgarian stratmap screenshot) is actually a city on the coast of the Black Sea, not on the mainland. And the faction symbol is of some of the Russian principalities, as far as I can see. If you need a better faction symbol for Bulgaria, I'd recommend you to use something from this site, though it depends on the starting date of your mod. And if you have some questions concerning the Bulgarians - feel free to PM me, I'm always glad to help as much as I can (only with history though, I'm not a modder).

    Nice, but why not just save yourself some work and use CBUR?

    Nice effort my friend!I am huppy to see that others have an interest for medieval Romans too!

    If you allow me i would like to give you a small advice!
    "Historical reshearch"...If you want an accurate byz roster then follow this advice!
    Afcourse if you want to create an "if" unit roster the options are countless!
    Nice try anyway.!!!

    PS: Btw what do you beleive that was the "byzantine typical style"?
    TGC in order to continue its development seak one or more desicated scripters to put our campaign scripts mess to an order plus to create new events and create the finall missing factions recruitment system. In return TGC will give permision to those that will help to use its material stepe by step. The result will be a fully released TGC plus many mods that will benefit TGC's material.
    Despite the mod is dead does not mean that anyone can use its material
    read this to avoid misunderstandings.

    IWTE tool master and world txt one like this, needed inorder to release TGC 1.0 official to help TWC to survive.
    Adding MARKA HORSES in your mod and create new varietions of them. Tutorial RESTORED.

    Well, can it get even more historical and more "byzantine stylish" than CBUR?! I think not

    @Antonius II

    Thank you for your advice (BTW: I`m studying history ).
    The CBUR roster is historically more accurate for sure (congratulations for that , i love Byzantine History).
    It`s a question of personal flavour, but i just don`t like the colours of armor and shields, because there`s no main colour.
    It looks a little bit weared for me, if my army looks like a rainbow in uniforms.
    I thought the historical byzantine main colour was dark purple ...

    and you`re right my plan is an "if" roster as there will be Byzantine Pikemen/Musketeers too.
    Anyway, for my opinion the CBUR modders did great work concerning models/weaponary and historical research.

    BTW: May I ask some questions about byzantine units via PM?

    My friend thank you for your kind words...
    Help is available any time...No need to pm me...Just post in our "question" thread and me or one of our historical researchers will give any info you need!
    About the colour!Units after 1025 a i am afraid that DID look like a rainbow about the cloths(not uniforms any more)they used...Only some units still followed the rulle about same colour and insignia on every unit's sields!
    Only armies before 1080 and much more before 1025 used to use "one uniform per unit"...That isue will become obius in our next rosters (Nikephorean units roster and Armies after the 1st Arabic expantion)projects!
    As for the 'pikemen" and the musketears you must know that the last pikemen existed until 1025 and the hundgunners were all latin mercs!
    But if you would create an "if" roster afcourse you should add such units scimilar to western ones!
