NEW PLAYER NEEDS HELP

Just started playing Medieval 2, and need to know how to enter the cheats, tried entering the "~" but nothing seems to heppen? Any help?

Its probably just not enabled in the game for you. Try going to the preferences text in your medieval 2 folder and I think one of the things will say Enable Console: No, change that to yes and it should work.

Or you are using the wrong key. It is on most keyboards the key left of the 1 and above the TAB.

What's the point if cheating if you just started? Enjoy it while you get a challenge and everything's new to you, then, when you've played it for a while and start to get bored, go ahead and cheat. Just my advice, cheating often ruins the fun.
