Battle animations
Is it just me or is the battle animation in ME 2 not very different from RTW? In ME2 trailers you see the ubits block and counter, i.e. actually looking like an exciting fight, ending with a e.g. sword pierced through the opponent. In the acutal gameplay the animations are different, e.g. looking at a fight between two units, they make the same attack movements, but not in a cool way like the trailers display. It's more like in RTW where the units carry out the same combat movements (more or less) and the fight ending with one simply falling down. I havn't seen one cool finish where one of the units strikes the sword/Spear through the opponents body.
Is there a setting that can activate more advanced combat movements?
Please posts vidoes where you cab show cool battle animations

Re: Battle animations
The strikes don't always hit, but the soldiers have more than one attack move to use - not just the single slash or jab motion of RTW. Condidering that the animation system had to be optimized for thousands of soldiers, I would say this is very good.

Re: Battle animations
Obviously the videos were edited to only include the blocks and strikes that looked really good.

I've seen a couple, but they are very few & far between.
Which is better really because you'd get sick of them otherwise.
