    Default Teutonic Order units for HRE - SS 6.1

    I made this for strife who suggested I post it for others...

    It's simple, and it just adds the Teutonic Order units to the HRE roster. It is only for vanilla SS 6.1.

    Unit cards/info are included.

    Download and install to your M2TW/mods/Stainless Steel 6/data folder.

    I can change the way recruitment works if you want?

    I can pick 3-5 provinces for the TO, and make the units only recruitable there. At the same time, I can make regular HRE units not recruitable in those settlements?

    or maby you could just make it so that theyre just available through the TO chapter house (dont know if you did that since i didnt download it, but the comments made me suspect that you didnt)

    Nope, it's not like your Orders mod...it was just something very simple that Strife requested.

    The problem with only having T.O units being recruitable in certain settlements is that once you expand it's had to retrain your units. I.E. If you decide to go for the holy lands with T.O. units, after a few battles your whole army would be gone and it's no quick trip! lol

    Good point...doesn't matter to me. It's easy to tweak, just let me know if you want any changes.

    Hi OTZ, i installed your Teutonic mod and i am enjoyin it 'cos i like to see massive variety of units in a faction, so, i wonder, if it could be possible to you, to add more mercenary and crussader units from the rest of european armys to the Teutonic Knights order as a swich of your mod?? it could be great if you be able to do so, if you have the time and if you are workin into it still, of curse, many thanx in advance, take care...

    The Prussians Archers and the Burgher Pikemen have the wrong skins. As well the Ritterbruder horses have the HRE color (I would like it to be black and white like the T.O.) can you fix this?

    Sorry everyone - I haven't bothered to look in on the SS forum in a while (been busy with another game and R/L lately) - anyway, I can certainly make the changes people want. It just might take a little time.

    Take your time OTZ, I figured out how to change the files in the building and unit files but one thing that still cant figure out is the battle_models.

    I have been thinking about changing some units myself like giving the KOJ Scots guards instead of French archers as an example. Like I said if I could get some info on changing the battle_models file I can do all the work myself.

    Also do you know what needs to be changed so that HRE (or any other faction) can create those brick castles from the T.O.?

    What do you mean by vanilla ss? I know it is stainless steele, but what do you mean by vanilla?

    By vanilla SS6.1 he meant SS6.1 without any submods installed.

    File is no longer availiable,can someone please reupload if they have this mod or possibly explain which files to change so teutonic chapter houses can build teutonic order units?

    Check the Mod Workshop section of the forums for tutorials on how to add one faction's units to another faction

    Will probably have to as my feeble attempt to replace the existing teutonic chapter units with some of the teutonic faction units resulted in a crash,i suppose i post in the vain attempt someone would just print a simple explanation,cheers anyway caesar.
