Screen Size- Edges Cut Off

Hi, I've had RTW for about a year and a half, but I uninstalled it a couple of months ago and just now reinstalled it. Whenever I start it up, the sides of the screen (about 3/4 inch on either side) is cut off. I've changed my computer's resolution, the game's resolution, the widescreen option, etc. to no avail. I never had this problem on my first install of the game. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to fix it?

Do you have the latest drivers for your graphics card?

It might want to see if ti change it in the pref file. Or it could be that your resolution of your screen is different from your graphics card setting. For most graphic cards have 2 video settings and it could be going off the other rather than the setting you want.

Did you change monitors? If so, does this monitor support your resolution?

No, I have the same monitor and drivers shouldn't matter if it worked before.

Have you had a look in the 'preferences.txt' file to see what's in there?

What graphics card are you using? What is the resolution of your screen, resolution of the strategy map and battle map? Please supply the make and model of your screen.

Make sure that you have the last two set to the same value. I've read that this can cause problems.
