ok now a problem with MTW

i just re-installed MTW, and everytime i run the executable or the shortcut.... nothing happens. nothing at all. the cursor shows the busy symbol for a second then goes back to being an arrow... any ideas here?

but it's MTW 1... not 2. from the Total War- Eras pack- this is the "Total War: Eras technical support" section right?

Got the disc in the drive? Can you read the disc in the drive in my computer? Sounds like your drive is trying to read something it can't find. Even if it's a blank disc, it'll read all of it trying to find that one file.
