    Default Hannibal's Last battle

Defeating Hannibal was hard for me, but I tried again and this time I took my Calvary and ambushed him. When I was close to killing Hannibal his troops who were attacking my hastati stopped and came to aid their leader. His troops were not able to stop me from killing their leader.

    cool

as LT stated, when their leader falls it is something very important!!

with your troops too, or if you march a legion forward without a FM as a general, your chances are hell lot lower

Lol, I have actually never tried, as far as I recall, I have never sent an army to fight without a family member general...Is it really that bad, Valerius? I mean, could it mean even loosing battle?

yes you can loose a battle whenyour army is leaderless, you need a family member ore a general. thy are there to give your troops morale and to stop them if thy start to route.

your cav units killed hannibal? thy had to be lucky becous thy get decimated verry fast. i think you got lucky with your captain becous normaly armies will rout very fast when thy only have a captain.

Yes. Generals are recruitable in settlements so you can have one for every army and city.
