Default Would you like a "real" medieval knight on top of your monitor

    Here you go:
    http://www.schleich-s.de/cms_schleic...=news&okat=130

The company is a quite old toy-factory for all sorts of toy highly detailed figures, mostly animals, but they also did a series of the "Smurf" comic figures. Of course they are synthetical as most things these days, but they are handpainted (!!) and therefore nearly unique copys.

Searching for that as a birthday present, I found out by accident, that they produce historical figures, too.
Some of you may think, they are too old for that.
Two tings: 1. I don't believe you and 2. they are beautifil enough to put them in a vitrine ...

As for the medieval times, there is nearly anything from small foot archer to chivalric knight:

But the thing a was astounded most about was discovering this guy when clicking on the crusades section:

... meaning sth like: did they copy the medieval 2 pc-game fantasy skins? do they have timurid elefants with cannons?
Well actually those helmets seem to be historically accurate:

Anyway this section is quite new in the catalogue of this company so support them so that they can add Templars, Johanniters and all the other crusaders, too.

Or you could buy some Playmobile...
Jon had taken Donal and Benjen’s advice to heart: Sam may be fat and pathetic, but he is still a member of the watch, and one of the few black brothers who isn't a rapist or thief. (out of context, this sounds ridiculously racist)

I'd love to put one of those little guys on my monitor to watch over my empire.

Thanks for posting the picture of that dismounted red knight.
I'm using it as my profile's picture. +Rep for that.

I looked at them and I think I've seen them in museum gift shops.

I bought the german collectors edition of M2TW and there also was a little toy knight included. I think it is the dismounted latinkon, the same as ingame.. It is not colored but it stand on my speakers for 1,5 years anyway^^
So I don't think I need these figures
