    Default many questions about SV

    First of all , thanks for this great mod I've played chivI [RTW mod] just before MTW2 came out, the improvements are impressive.

    After months and months or years ... DLV, SS and BC time for a change [huh i am not Obama]

    I will challenge this game VH/VH.

    1] Looking at several different countries, it seems an AOR is in effect playing DA, though I don't know what triggers it. It ain't relegion above 50% because danes can recruit all in under 50% pagan, while the Moors can't.

    2] why can the Rus build pagan and orthodox religion buildings and how does this effect on each other a bit contradictory IMO. this counts for so many other kds I checked, Danes, pagan and catholic , Cumans, which can go muslim and pagan.... confusing.

    3] again towards AOR, if I know what triggers it will I get a normal AOR like no longer being able of recruiting of Seigneurs for the Moors.

    4] Thsi maybe a beta issue, though falling back to my earlier question why do many countries have a different religion building in their country. The AI isn't able to destroy such nuissance.

    This is based on the ZOR (cultural zone of recruitment), there is more to improve in this area, so stay tuned.

    This was the first pass at Paganism, and is intended to show that religion isn't an all or nothing topic. Just look at Sicily. In this period we historically had...Catholic, Orthodox, and Muslim. The Roger's even favored the Orthodox for a period. Building new churches, and monasteries.

    It all depends on the area you are recruiting in, and as I said above, the system is still evolving.

    Thanks for the reply, though I am still a bit in the dark about religions in DA.

    For instance I can build orthodox buildings in pagan Rhos Khaganate, will there be a point that my country converts to Orthodox Christianity or do I only get more religious unrest by building orthodox churches or just gradual acceptance of both religions?

    The pagan shrine let me allow to build a priest and not a shaman?

    My neighbour the Cumans can build imams in their pagan shrines?

    I like the role of religion though in this way it creates much rebellion in AI provinces, they are probably just as confused as I am...

    You will be forced to convert at the historic date. This is when the ruler accepts the Orthodox creed, the people are another matter

    This also applies to all the other Pagan factions.

    The Rus we not Shamanists, so you should see Pagan Priests.

    This is a limitation of the game engine, they should be Pagan Priests in game. The text on the building just says Imam.

    Exactly

    This is still evolving as well, so things will probably be enhanced later on.

    Ok thanks for this great update, it all is now much clearer and I do agree with the philosophy behind it, for what it's worth. maybe put some of this in the FAQ, I might not be the only micromanager arround here
