    Icon4 Extreme Insanity v1.0 (for SS 6.1)

    Are you tired of seeing 2d sprites of your units when you move your camera away, do you think that m2 is not using your pc's abilities ?

    This mod is aimed at providing players with a better visual of the battle from afar, just try it out.

    Warning:for people with slower pcs, this mod can blow your pc and kill you in the process...beware.
    Installation:
    1-Back up your battle_models file (SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\Stainless_Steel_6\data\unit_models)
    2- put the rar in your ss directory then extract it.

    Compatibility:
    Currently compatible with the orignal ss 6.1 and any other mods that don't change the battle_models file.
    Reap the promised end to the struggle. Reap every point on our linear path.
    Reap the smiles in time we borrow, every harvest relies on the last.
    Reap the promising song of the sparrow, that they learned from the birth of sea.
    Silenced by the threnody of the crows. Reap the fallen fruit of the dogwood tree.
    But I witnessed in all this silence one soul's definition of beauty. and a backlit smile so temporary.
    A facade so rich with evil history. Cast in direct opposition set to overwhelm this moment to shine and sleep.
    came out on top of what was borrowed, and found all that beauty to be still...

    You do know that you can turn off sprites trough the preferences.CFG file?
    Nice effort anyhow.

    ...i've been playing rtw (roma surrectum to be more precise) for some time now that i actually forgot about that. either way it only took about 5 minutes or so from my time.

    Hehe yeah really nice effort. Must have taking sometime unless you just used the replace (nr) with other (nr).

    How exactly do you turn off sprites through the CFG file and what CFG file is it you mean?

    Awesome! Been bugging me like hell that the units just turn to white/gray goo when I move the camera away, downloading it now.

    Screenshots won't show any difference, because the sprites get replaced with the original 3d models when you take a screenshot.

    Didn't work for me unfortunately, just turned itself off when I started, not your mod that's messed up tho, must be my submods, I got PP, SSTC and Crimson Tide, all of them changes models like banners and units so that must be it.

    How to easy remove sprites:

    go to medieval folder and find "medieval2.preference.cfg"

    Search for : unit_detail and set it to "highest".

    And thats it. Works with all sub mods etc.
