XGM is constantly improved: new features, units, ideas are constantly introduced. You can find the XGM versions history in XGM here. XGM-Diadochi is a mod definitely worth playing. Diadochi contains plenty of different units, a few different factions, and quite a few interesting features.

I'm still crossing my mind to play this sub-mod, Magister
Do I need to delete the original XGM before I install this one?

From what I understand is, the original units from XGM are there....including some new ones? Why doesnt DimeBagHo use these units in his original XGM?

What are the interesting features you talk about?
*EDIT* Found the features at the forum. Never mind this question.

LOL....i need to be convinced here about Diadochi. I also hear ppl talking about "provincial campaigns". Is this in the latest version of XGM or is it in Diadochi. And even more important, what is it exactly?

No, you can install Diadochi in the same RTW folder as XGM: it will not affect your vanilla or XGM.

That's a question to DBH . I think there was some exchange of units between Diadochi and XGM.
Diadochi is based on an old XGM version (3 or 4, I am not sure), but as far as I know RedFox introduced many new units (particularly, for Diadochi factions) and made changes in both recrutment system and unit stats.

Well, it is not for me to convince you. My message is: it's worth trying. Decision is yours

Provincial campaign is an XGM feature, indeed. There are no new factions involved, Just that the starting position of a faction (e.g., GCS) is changed to represent a Greek/Helenic city/state; e.g. Bosporan Kingdom, Epirus, Syracuse, Massilia etc. Furthermore, some extra city-specific hoplite units were introduced for spicing prov. campaigns a bit. Those prov campaign allows you to start in a different position and play new scenarios on strategic map. So, it's sort of historic campaign. A feature with quite a potential. A number of new prov campaigns are on their way (Roman civil war campaign by Caesar Vincens; Carthage senate campaign by Zarax and RedFox, and perhaps some more are secretly prepared by DBH). Very cool feature
