Unlock Factions

Are there any mods at the moment that allow you to unlock factions?? I really want to play as the Greek's but I dont want to have to slog my way through the whole game, or just beat them to be able to play them.

Any advice on this guys?

You can do it yourself with modifying the descr_strat in Rome - Total War\data\world\maps\campaign\imperial_campaign folder-I recommend you do that, also don't be afraid to explore other files-modding is good

i downloaded a file called "setup.exe RTW uncut! Setup Thomas Ney".
i just installed and it made all factions playable.

Go to My Computer/C:/Program Files/The Creative Assembly/Rome: Total War/data/world/maps/campaign/imperial_campaign/descr_strat

Near the top, you'll see a list of factions under one of three headings. Copy Greece from the Unlockable heading and paste it into playable, then save and quit. You can do this with any faction.
Note: Don't paste any of the ones under Unplayable, as they will crash the game if you try to start a game as them.

Well now you know how to do it, You can still move all the factions(even the unplayable ones) to playable but the senate is the only one very buggy that causes CTD, in my opinion don't move that one. also the game is more stable with the 1.5 patch.

Senate wasn't buggy in my version, I think there was only a CTD when you went to the Senate standings menu.

That and sometimes sudden CTD after battles, it happened more often with the senate.
