CTD in 253 during AI turn. Need help.

Hello all. This is my first post to the forum even though I'm no stranger to here for quite some time now.
I'm having the famous CTD problem in the winter of 253 playing as the Romans. It CTD during Carthage's turn, not at the end of mine. I'm running RTRPE 1.9 with BI with Revolt CTD Hotfix and Marcus Camillus' RTR Music ReMix Mod installed.
I've searched the forums high and low for CTD fixes and/or sollutions. I do have the -show_err command in the RTR Platinum BI target line but it doesn't show up to give me the error message when it CTD. I've narrowed down the unit thats causiung the crash with toggle_fow.
I've tried the save/load trick during the AI's turn just before the crash. No avail.
I've tried moving my units into a different position, hopefully to influence the AI's decision. No avail.
Its not a revolt so its not covered by the Hotfix.
I'm running out of options and would really like to continue this campain. Even if I can continue it, I would be weary of starting another campain, Roman or not in fear of an unresolved CTD.
I've included a screen shot of the unit causing the CTD. Its a Carthaginian family member which moves to attack a sieging Iberian unit. Once the battle is over with Carthage winning, it CTD. I don't understand whats causing the CTD.
Please any help would be appreciated. I know its an unresolved issue but I would really like to actually play my favorite game. Thanks.

Bump. Does anyone have any ideas around the CTD? I really don't want to start over another campaign just to have this happen again. I'm reluctant to start any other faction campaign too. Is it just more common for the Romans or is it the same for every faction? Any thoughts or comments will be useful. Thanks!

in your unit browser, do you see the unit that costs 33,000 pesos? if not, your ctd fix is not installed properly. every settlement you have should have this 33K unit ...

Yeah I have the hotfix installed. I don't think its a revolting city because it happens in the middle of Carthage's turn and its a unit battle doing it. Thanks for the input though.

i know you said you had the hotfix installed before, it's just that many people somehow install it wrong. that's why i always ask if they indeed see the super expensive unit ....

what you can do, as a workaround, install the hotseat script generator, and play carthage's turn yourself. either it will just go through, and if not, maybe you'll see better what's going on ....

Oh okay I misunderstood what you were meaning. I was reading through the forums more and saw a little about the script for playing as a different faction. Thanks for your advise. I guess I'll just have to work around it and hope it doesn't come back. I hope future versions won't be plagued as bad with the CTD bug.
