Total war Lag

I have Rome total on the maxium setting and i have a windos vista duel core laptop thats 2.0 hertz and 3 g ram so i think the lag might be cause of single core game designn for Rome total war, but is there any way to change it? and is there any a duel core game now or its going come out can take the duel core advantage?

Did your laptop come with a graphics card if not you S.O.L for max settings you will have to put up with low.

Single core game is all you're going to get. This game will never be rewritten for newer processors.

my video card has like 256 mb dedicated memory and a 1000 real memory so yeah.

What kind of video card is it? Nivida or ATI

its a Ati 3100 card

http://ati.amd.com/products/Mobility...100/specs.html is the specs on your ATI card. It only has 64mb of memory on the card and it's only ddr. In a laptop, it will lag.
