No women for Prince Edward wth?!

I'm several years into my Brittania campaign now, that's years not turns as I have obviously edited the relevant file and modified a few other bits to make it more pleasant but I realize something else is missing, BRIDES!
My faction heir, Prince Edward has had no brides presented to him yet, how is he supposed to make baby kings if they are not coming his way. And come on... Edward Longshanks would have any problem with wenches, As if!
Help please, is something bugged on my game?

I think brides don't get presented until 30ish to give you a chance to marry off to a foreign Princess.

I hope that's the case, at the moment he's away on Crusade or selfing, don't know what's going on there, hopefully when he comes back he will get more ho's (or princesses)

I found out something very annoying, but it's useful to know.

Somehow, the AI prefers to have your daughters married, above your sons. So, as long you have an unmarried women in you family, none of you men will ever get a proposal
