Popularity with the Masses

I have a question to do, but I believe that some topic related with this subject exists, that didn't get to find. And I still believe, that many of you also have doubts with this subject.
I player the MOD/Game SPQR from of the version 6.2, but I never got to invade ROME and to take the power. Due to having to maintain my legions, I maintain the taxes in VH, what does that my popularity doesn't grow. I already had heroic victories, I already invaded countries and glorious campaigns, but never my popularity increased in a considerable way
Friends, some suggestion???

use the add-on i can invade rome it self now and i am at the year 140 b.c. i still have pre marius legions so it is not wise to invade them now (no need to inceasing your popularity with the masses if you use add-on)

Hesus, i already use Add-on in my game, and even so I still don't get to invade Rome.... at least I installed the add-on, I believe.!!!
Does exist more some tip type????

i guess you get it the same way as with vanilla:

yeah you need a lot of provinces before you can attack rome it self.

Hi SirGejor - what about disbanding some legions then and lowering taxes? I have just some 35 provinces and Im already quite popular...No surprise, Im MPCU, that cheerful mate and friend of plebs, lol

Tks for your assistance, but my objective as said the General Valerius and to Conquer,Conquer, Conquer... and to arrive the 155 provinces... soon possible,hehehehehehehe!!!

My suggestion is play on MEDIUM, VH is impossible to finish a campaign in SPQR.

well if you installed the add-on but didn' t start a new game your old game still works with out the add-on so in order to get it work you need to start a new game.

But I think I am really with the add-on, because my enemies don't invade more my territory as before. On the contrary, I see more concentration of armies close to their cities. And more creation of troops with more frequency.

Then forget what I told you, forget about disbanding a single legion since Im damn sure youll need all of those - and many more, lol...I play M/M as recommended and I experience somewhat a very nice challenge, if you follow house rules, of course, I actually added some others to increase challenge, but dont let me bother you with them...

But damn it, how the hell can you play on VH/VH??? Post us screenshot of one of your battles, you have to have terrible losses...Or you are unseen strategic genius and then I bow in awe, my lord and master!

Thank you for their considerations that play me!! I don't believe that I am a Military Genius or a Master. No still, rsrsrsrsrsrs.... But I arrive there!! I use of a lot of strategy in my combats and actions in the Game. As well as for instance, to conquer Greece and Macedonia, rich and strategic areas.

For my game to be more real and exciting, I made some modifications in my Army. Besides names of Generals. I made the same also, for the main enemies. I admit that it is more and more difficult. But I like a lot!!! VH/VH in my blood!!

But in agreement with Hesus, I will begin a new campaign in mode M/M and without modifications to test.
