Hardest Challege in Kingdoms Vanilla?

I just finished britannia vh/vh as wales, it was a breeze I choose Wales because I thought it would be hard but i was wrong, by turn 48 I had already eliminated the english I couldn't believe how small there garrisons where! So what is the most difficult challege in Medieval 2 or Kingdoms?

I already play with no reloading and try my best not to put the AI in situations where it goofs up, I refuse to auto-calc battles though because it makes me feel like I am playing Civilization 2 again

try norway in bitannia or any of the non-gunpowder wielding native americans

I must agree here with Norway in the Britania Campaign and any of the natives in Americas campaign.

The easiest is probably Scotland and the Danes in the Teutonic campaign

Thanks for the advice everyone. Just tried Norway on Brittania ^^ Yay I have no money and the scots have destroyed my navy and are taking settlements, losing never felt this good.

Brittania - Scotland (Easiest), Norway (Hardest)
Americans - Spain (Easiest), Aztecs (Hardest)
Crusades - Antioch/Jerusalem (Very Easy), Turkey (Hardest)
Teutonic - Danes, Novgorod (Easiest), Lithuania (Hardest)

So now I know how to ramp up the difficulty factor. Maybe for the second Americas campaign, it's Aztecs on H/H.

The Aztecs are tuff because they are surrounded

Hardest Challenge on kingdoms= Conquering all of the map on VH/VH as the Tlaxcalans.

If you plan on conquering the whole map though, it's inevitable that you will be at war with Spain at one time or other, unless they are somehow destroyed by native incursions and rebellions before you get to fight them. The Mayans start in an ok position. There are tonnes of rebel settlements to capture. You get some Spanish expeditionary troops heading your way, but a few stacks of armies should fend them off. As for the English colonies, by turn 50 you should be ready for them.

orange dudes took Mexico from Aztecs, "helping" Aztecs. Mayans are getting pwned. France is walking around doing nuttin. England is walking around doing nuttin. Other natives are walking around doin nuttin. I'm the only one conquering places, and other Europeans are still in Horde form. Oh and I have like the South East US, most of central America, and Cortes is killing the rest of the Mayans before he "retires" around 61 years old.

I've never got that far myself. Are their armies as big as in Medieval 2? Man, I hope not!

I'd say that it's harder as the TO. The Lithuanian missile cavalry can wipe out TO infantry armies easily with almost no losses + you get Novgorod offering you an alliance early on.

I hadn't any problem with the TO to defeat the Lithuanians and Novgorod

Replace the descr_strat with that one and play as the Order. It ought to compensate for how powerful their units are! (I was bored one evening.)
