Edit problem

I been trying to unlock the nations by editing the desc_strat, but everytime i edit it and try to save it , it says the file dont exist, and by the way im using windows vista, so can anyone help me?

It's all down to User Access Control (UAC).

The first vista link in the post used to link to a useful article that explained what UAC is (I think the target has changed content - it had the last time I looked). The second link mentions a program called TWEAK-UAC which I have been using.

A lot depends upon whether you want to run everything as an administrator or not. There may be good reasons why you don't want to do that. Personally, I've toggled UAC off and not run as an administrator.

Here the key to that take it out on to your desktop and then change it and once you saved the changes then put it back in it will work fine.
