Default What are you going to do after the election?

What are you planning to do after the election results are known?

    A. If Obama Wins
    B. If McCain Wins

    A. I am planning to turn the TV off and probably sip a beer for a while, think about next election, and call it a night.
    B. I'm going to run through the streets and find all my Democrat friends and scream "four more years" in their face....(hopefully scaring them as they beleive McCain is Bush v.3.0)

Either way, I'll be having a good time watching the states turn red or blue, probably won't be going to sleep that night.

This comes once every four years, you should make the most of it. Have an election party and make fun of the losing parties supporters. Politics can be fun....when you win.

    A) Groan. If things start turning out badly, probably leave the country, move to Canada. We're taxed so heavily in California, living in Canada will be a cakewalk.

    A. Change? From the current administration? Not difficult. Would it make a big difference? Not sure. (The man will become president not Absolute Monarch)
    B. If they elect another republican president, the American people deserve him.

Other than that, finally enjoy the Foreign pages in the papers that talk about more than the US elections.

    B. Be thrilled and elated. And yes, find some Democrat friends to pester .

if McCain wins, i'll enlist in the army, after a while join blackwater and eventually become CEO, bringing into my control some 100,000 soldiers, and i will then lead a coup and install Ron Paul as president, and myself as head of the republican legion, 10,000,000 men strong

    A. Yes! America has gained respect for butt kicking the party that allowed the conservative dimwit Bush into office.
    B. Before Palin I'd been okay with McCain, but now I think I'll just enjoy living in a state of Europe where idiots like her wouldn't even make the voting list.

I am fine with either I guess, I find Obama too left and Mc Cain is bad now because the economy is bad.

It's not even about Obama. I'm just saying that in California, we're so heavily taxed that if I move to Canada, I won't see any real change in my lifestyle, except that the money I use will have some weird funky sayings and poetry on it.

    Oh you Canadians.

Assuming you get a job in canada making the same amount of money... Odds are you probably won't.

Are you serious man? You would move to Canada because Obama is elected? You know Canada are way way more Left then the states, they are practically European.

Well Canada is more open and cosmopolitan society IMO. In recent years, we've become more right wing economically (free trade, capitalism), and left socially (same-sex marriage, laissez-faire with drugs). So we're actually much better than the states. Our government doesn't set up socialist housing corporations then bail them out with taxpayers money. Saying the US has a capitalistic economy any more is slightly amusing. It used to be the greatest nation on earth, but not any more. Furthermore, Canada has not only balanced its budget, it's paying down its national debt.

As a ratio of both federal and GDP, our healthcare is the same (aka, the government on a relative basis pays the same as the US). We still are backwards in some of health care policies, buts its moving to more private competition (as opposed to the US).

Either A or B, I'm working on an exit strategy.
As a teenager, I was taken to various houses and flats above takeaways in the north of England, to be beaten, tortured and raped over 100 times. I was called a “white slag” and “white ****” as they beat me.

Just realized that I didn't actually respond.

    A. See if things get better, in the off chance they do - smile. More than likely, I'll wait out his term till someone better gets nominated.

    B. Wait to see if someone better is nominated next time around.

I'm just going to get on with my life as usual regardless of who becomes the next President of the United States of America. Obama is much too "left wing" for me, and McCain has some negativities. I probably won't even vote in election, but if I do, it may be for McCain.

Either way, we lose. This is probably the most apathetic I've ever been towards a Presidential election. I hate both parties.
