Icon4 America Campaign - Still very "buggy" with Patch 1.05

    Hello there,

i started a new America campaign with Spain. But soon i noticed that there are still a lot of bugs in the game. It starts with the musketeer units that will not function proper. From 10-15 soldiers in a line only 5 will fire. It goes further to the messages fron the spanish crown, that give me notice about new titles if earned. This titles are still in the wrong order. It start with "Fürst" and is followed bei "Graf" which is unlogic.
Then in round 76 i got the message "faction destroyed "NeuFrankreich"", but than 5 round later i got the message "relation ship towards "NeuFrankreich" is not so good. Then 10 rounds later another time the message " faction destroyed "NeuFrankreich".

So what is wrong with this campaign ?

well, the new french and new english colonist armies keep on coming, in like 10 waves each or so. there's literally no end to the armies they will send, so they will almost constantly respawn

New England is there since almost 60 rounds and is not able to take any city !?
So KI is absolutley stupid cause they seem to be trapped in Maya territory !
The Mayas are holding only three cities and the english have still 4 full stack army left !?

Then i killed the Maya faction and the english passed trough my whole territory not daring to attak me :hmmm:

No there starting war with my neighbour the Tlaxazteks, who has 10 times more soldiers !

Win before turn 60 and you won't have to worry about it.

I am playing as Spain (M/M difficulty) in Americas campaign and am not seeing the bugs of which you speak (although you obviously have a different version than the USA non-gold box). I am at turn 32, own 24 territories, have the 25th under siege, and the Mayans and Aztecs are gone. I expect to get the next 5 territories and have victory before turn 40.

My guess is that the English will not appear in this campaign.

Spain's first battle with the French will be this turn. I have not had problems with muskets, yet; but will pay attention in this battle to see what happens.

    Kick their arses.
Jon had taken Donal and Benjen’s advice to heart: Sam may be fat and pathetic, but he is still a member of the watch, and one of the few black brothers who isn't a rapist or thief. (out of context, this sounds ridiculously racist)

Don't think as the English and French as a uniform Faction.
These are more or less historic correct expeditions send to the New World.
They are scripted in the campaign_script.txt that you find in your Mod Folder somewhere, same folder where the strat.txt file is.

So you can't defeat England, French... because you aren't annihilating the Nation French just the Expedition they have send. This is not a BUG!

Update: Ehh: a tad under-achieving under AI control; but otherwise no problem with muskets.

Yeah I haven't seen all the bugs that you have seen. However, I expect that they didn't expect some people to play the campaign allt eh way through. You have given me an idea though, maybe I can talk to SS about sorting out the bugs that you presented here. You send him a PM about it and maybe we can sort it out.

Sigh... if only The Creative Assembly made another patch that could fix all the known problems.
