Well I don't know if it's good or bad for Ukraine (it's for Ukrainians to decide) but it may be a start of something bad for all of us :hmmm:
Obviously the Ucrainians themself are deeply divided. If they weren't the last elections would have resulted in a much more stable coalition. Yushchenko is desperate to make a last stand and to garner as much influence as possible with his rethoric and fear mongering. Just look at his accusations...
Timoshenko beeing a complice of the Russians ?![]()
Frederick II of Prussia: "All Religions are equal and good, if only the people that practice them are honest people; and if Turks and heathens came and wanted to live here in this country, we would build them mosques and churches."
Norge: "Give me a break. Nothing would make you happier than to see the eagle replaced with a crescent."
Ummon:"enforcing international law will require that the enforcers do not respect it"
Olmstead v USA:"Crime is contagious. If the government becomes a lawbreaker, it breeds contempt for law; it invites every man to become a law unto himself; it invites anarchy. To declare that in the administration of the criminal law the end justifies the means-to declare that the government may commit crimes in order to secure the conviction of a private criminal-would bring terrible retribution. Against that pernicious doctrine this court should resolutely set its face."
Holiness is in right action, and courage on behalf of those who can't defend themselfs.
When you stand before god you can not say "I was told by others to do this" or that virtue was not convenient at the time
Too bad Dick didn't take Yuschenko back to DC with him to spare him the future peril![]()
Put it to a popular vote.
See, this is what I love about the Parliamentary system. It's mush more dynamic and rejuvenating than the 2 party system of stagnation and ruin we have here in the states. Oops, I mean the Yankee Empire, built on the blood of millions dead.
Something like that could be expected since the first open conflicts between Timoshenko and Yushchenko.

Oh good, the Soviet Union is being rebuilt. This time they are trying Autocratic Capitalism, let's see how it works for them.
"I have need to be all on fire, for I have mountains of ice about me to melt." -William Lloyd Garrison
"The end may justify the means as long as there is something that justifies the end." -Leon Trotsky
I had no idea this would draw such ignorant and filthy statements. I gueess our American friends are not happy that a madman will soon be ousted from power because he was pro_western.
Because you have proof that it was the Kremlin poisoned him, right? Could've been a botched plastic operation in Switzerland![]()

Ukraine is not a state and Ukranians are not nation, that thing should be divided between Poland and Russia before it collapse in bloody civil war in couple of years.

Actually it's not the way of resolving disputes between Slavs... Besides you could say the same about Belarus, as they're actually "occupying" former Lithuania (northern half at least) as Poland "occupies" eastern part of former Germany (exactly where I am now).
Ukraine for Ukrainians!
Of course disputes between "Orange revolution" founders are very pleasant for Russian state, giving possibility to peacefully annex Crimea in some perspective. And of course Yushchenko is pro-west US-installed puppet - as well as Saakashvili and Polish president. If not puppets, they're at least Russofobes and nationalists (vide Estonians)
Amusing logic of some posters here...

Which has successfully raped modern NATO given georgian navy in a couple of hours.Actually I could care less...better for Ukraine to be divided anyway since the crap in Russia wont stop playing its game until it keeps it precious little port so it can use it for its outdated, toothless and obsolete navy.

Man, that Georgian navy is state of the art! Witness naval perfection:

Nothing larger than our Coast Guard operates, it seems, according to this Russian blogger.
