Speeches not working

Hey all. I think this is the place this goes...

The pre battle speech the generals say won't work for me on Rome, and I'm pretty sure it doesn't work on BI and Alexander as well. Could someone please tell me how to fix it?

Hmm, I remember having a similar issue but I don't remember how I fixed it. Does it not show the pre-battle speeches at all, or does the audio just not come on?

Try turning subtitles on and looking at your audio options. Sometimes there's multiple choices for audio drivers, using a different one may help.

Turning on the subtitles didn't do anything, still no speech. I guess I should have mentioned before that I don't have the deployment thing either, the game just throws me right into the battle.

Do you know have a deployment phase for all battles? If you've been ambushed or if you are laying siege to a settlement and the garrison rally out then there is no deployment phase.

What happens in a custom battle?

I have it for no battles at all. The game will always throw me straight into the battle, not giving me a speech or a deployment phase, same with the custom battles. Uninstalling it doesn't fix the problem, as I've recently uninstalled it to fix Alexander and I still have the problem.

EDIT: Nevermind, fixed it all.
