There is no one true way to prove the existence of God to someone. Sure you could make logical arguments, debate theology, and talk amongst yourselves all you want, but you're not getting any closer to knowing God. You have to experience Him, much in the same way you need to experience other things.

Take an apple for instance, say you have never tasted an apple, but you have seen one. You haven't tasted its sweetness, you haven't had that experience. Without any other evidence, could you discern that that apple was sweet or sour?

What it all boils down to is the desire to believe, and to have faith. There are bound to be certain things in this world, like God, that you haven't experienced yet. But, does that mean they don't exist?

There is no Paradise and there is no Hell, except in your own little imaginetive mind. So why not try using Ockham's razor, for once in your life? When I die, then there is nothing more to it - Why on 'Gods' Green Earth should there be in the first place?

To some degree I also think about Religion in that way. But I think that too much people forgot that Religion was the only place where education could "flourish" (with some exceptions - like for example Copernicus) in the past centuries, and to XVIIIc Priests where the core of the best educated people in the world. Also the theological schools (for example like jesuit schools) were one of the most common schools throughout Europe. Also lots of modern laws, ethics and culture are based on religion.

Ahhh ok, even totally ignoring the fact that there is zero evidence for a place called "Hell", you might want to do some reading about hell in the Christian theology anyway. Jesus is good, Jesus died for us. He is all-forgiving. Unless he is either a) not ultimately powerful or b) not ultimately good, he would let everyone in heaven, even those who failed to believe in him during their oh so short lifetime.

If I claim that it will rain tomorrow and it does infact rain on that day, does that make me a prophet? No. None of those prophecies is proven, none of them is valid. There are so many factors and it is sooo easy to just interpret anything into them.
If I said, "The Great Democracy of the United States Will Fall Eventually!!!" (it probably will, most countries fell eventually) and it did after maybe 1000 years, then people would say "look, hes a prophet!!! omg!!!"

And honestly, if you need guidance or information on a level of this magnitude, on a subject of such great importance, an Internet forum is not the place.
