I have enjoyed my Seleucid campaign, the last days very much. But Im getting more and more irritated, by all these rebels spawning across the map. I hate dealing with them anyway, but the S empire has so much ground to cover, its really freakin me out. They are no match and cost time and effort.

Is there a way, to decrease rebel spawning rate?

In descr_strat.txt, underneath the 'playable/unlockable/unplayable factions' bit there is the rebel spawn rate. Increase it to the lower how many rebels spawn.

However, I heard that you should do it the other way around. Like 10=0
and 0=10, or is this not the case for XGM, or not the case at all.

It only applies to new campaigns, so editing it now won't help. But the higher the number, the less often rebels spawn.

Set it to 9999 and they almost stop spawning.

Ok now I know exactly what to do. Thus, Im going to start a new campaign, got about 8 brigand things, in one round.
