Patching

First of all hi everybody I am new
Second of all I need some help with patching.
I got medieval 2 and kingdoms installed.
Which patches should I install? I want the game unpacked so I can mod it a bit and I want to install some popular mods so which patch you guys recommend? The latest patch or another one.
I'm not english so sometimes I write stupid things

Hahaha, well, you should install the 1.5 Kingdoms patch in any case.

And if you want to play good mods, try Stainless Steel, Deus lo Vult, Broken Crescent and many more.

My favourite is Deus Lo Vult.

Okey I am searching for a mod that adds some kingdoms factions into the vanilla game like the teutonic order kingdom of jersulam etc.
And when I install patch 1.5 do i have to install other patches before i patch to 1.5? and does patch 1.5 unpack my game?

If you have Kingdoms installed, then you're already 1.04 and only need 1.05. The game will not be unpacked. You need to use the unpacker found in the Tools folder.
