Discuss Palin-Giuliani Speech!

This thread is to discuss tonight's RNC speeches, specifically Giuliani's points blasting Obama, and Palin's points fighting off the media!

I like Romney's speech alot more then Rudy...Rudy always rubs me the wrong way when he speaks and always is so obviously loose with some facts. Palin's speech was imo fantastic, she did everything she needed to and did it well. Pretty impressive in my view. So Romney and Palin were the two best, Huckabee of course was Huckabee.

Most regrettably, I missed Romney's speech tonight...

And I started watching Giuliani's a little late...

But the parts I saw I thought were very good...

Romney's speech was attack speech but it was much better then Rudy's. Obviously both were speaking with a specific aim in mind and Mitt was more effective at it.

I think it was devastating of Obama, she absolutely took him apart and exposed him as a total light weight.

Palin did a top notch job with her speech. I knew she was a good choice for Mcains vp.

ive never been that big on juliani, IMO he is a false republican, he has way to many differences with what republicans beleive. but then again its kind of hard to be a republican in a liberal state, case in point- arnold swartzennegar over here in california.

Agreed, mocking his styrofoam greek speech and presidential seal were great. The media and BHO camp were foolish to have dismissed and underestimated her.

Of course, they made the same mistake in 2000 and 2004. They have an uncanny ability to lower expectations of their opponents. Thereby allowing them to surpass them greatly.

They have good reason to fear her.

I think I've noticed here in CO there seems to have been a decrease in Obama-lovers since they hosted the DNC here, and few specific CO-related points were made...Palin, however, seems to have included the Minnesotans in various points throughout the speech. Of course, the DNC is also viewed here as having been too much a hassle...

I wonder if God talks to John "what were we talking about again" McCain too?

It will be a hoot if McCain gets elected, dies, and then we have Palin's 1st-dude husband. I envision Billy Carter on steroids.
