    Default How to make units available more often?

    I have a question: A unit is available every 10 turns. How can I make it available every turn?

    I m not 100% sure but I think this should be right.

    Go in your data folder then open the export_descr_buildings.
    Search the unit, I choose Egnlish Knights for an example.

    recruit_pool "Dismounted English Knights" 1 0.3 3 0 requires factions { england, }

    I m not sure about the first number, the '1'. The last number, the '0' is the experience, the '3' is the max anmount of units available, an the '0.3' are the needed turns for the next available unit, in this case 4 turns. (4x 0,3 = 1,2) Place a 1 and the unit should be available every turn. Like this:


    recruit_pool "Dismounted English Knights" 1 1 3 0 requires factions { england, }

    The first number, in case you wanted to know, is the initial number of units available in the unit pool.

    That means that, if I change it to 4, I will be able to have 4 units recruitable in one turn?

    the 0.3 means that, every turn, 0.3 of a unit will accumulate into the pool...so actually, it would be 4 turns before you could recruit one.

    I assume you are talking about the 1st number...

    No. It means that you will have 4 units available from the time you build the building that recruits them. But if the max pool number is still 3...you might run into some problems, since you can't have 4 available to recruit when the max pool # is 3.

    If you are talking about the second number, then, yes, but, again the max pool number has to be changed as well.

    You have to do what I mentioned above. You also have to add recruitment slots, since I don't think any building level has 4 slots from vanilla.
