Holy Relics in game? Like the Holy Lance retinue you can get in the holy lands? That's the only one I know of, gives 2 piety and 1 command or something like that, description says it's the knife that jesus got stabbed in the side with before he was crucified.

I got mine in a castle above Antioch, Aleppo I think it was. Might be totally random tho.

No, they are set for certain places.

I know about the Holy Lance, Holy Grail, Crown of Iron (just got that one!), some rag that a chick rubbed on Jesus' face, and the Ark of the Covenant. But I know there are a ton more (and the Muslims have some to their own, even if they are like "Jar of Mohammed's toenails" or "Clump of Mohammed's hair")

You get those by capturing that particular settlement, very high chance of acquiring while capturing. Only for the religion listed. 90% chance to pass on to a heir when general holding it dies, 60% to general that is victorious versus the general holding the relic. Items resurface in time if lost. Can't bother (issues with space as well) listing +traits, theyre mainly +piety with command, dread etc mixed in.

Oh, and Zilgor, the Fragment of the Black Stone gives +5 piety, not +3 piety. I should know, I just killed the Muslim general that had it.

Because there was a 60% chance of getting that relic, but it failed. You got the other relic from capturing Constantinople.

There should be 24 relics in game.They are all tied to cities.General who captures certain settlement has small chance of gaining relic located in that settlement if his piety is more than 4 and if he doesn`t already have another relic.If general holding the relic dies naturally, his son has chance of inheriting that relic if his piety is 3 or more.If general holding the relic dies in battle, victorious general has small chance of capturing that relic.

That's kinda strange, because I was playing Crusades in kingdoms, I was besieging Constatineople (sp) with my heir around turn 20, and the Byzie Emperor had the Holy Lance, and when I won my heir got the Iron Crown of Lombardy.
