A few questions

1. Is there a way to convert larger towns into castles and vise versa? I saw in a couple of my huge citys like Paris, it didnt give me the option to convert.

2.Does the game end after the 250 or so moves to complete big campain? is there the option to continue?

3.I have the gold version of mtw2, with americas ect. is there a time in the original mtw2 game that I will have the option of crossing the atlantic and conquering the americas?

4.how easy is it to be reconciled by the pope after being excommunicated? What do I have to do?

Yes, you should be able to find your answer in the FAQs and elsewhere. But it is also true that you ARE still a peasant; and I have seen much more, uh... uncalculated... posts from folks who had much more time on the boards. So, even though this thread is officially closed, I'll give you a bit more.

1. Dunno. I'll go with HighLord on this.

2. The game does not end at the 'end.' You win or lose by then, but you can keep on playing.

3. Yes. BUT you have to get the "World is round" event, which is well after many of us win the game. SO, the Americas will have no impact on winning or losing in vanilla M2TW, unless you are a pretty poor player.

4. HighLord's answer is good. Thankfully, bishops are usually pretty old before they get elected Pope; so a Pope typically does not 'reign' very long.
