I have just heard from flogi that Basileia Total War cannot continue, and it may merge with a bigger mod...
I was just thinking, maybe you should contact them again, as they could benefit DotS a lot, and both mods had similar aims... :hmmm:

We already have a huge Byzantine roster and culture. And i hardly think their project is similar.Still, this remark annoys me somewhat:

To all people who think like that:

We have a huge amount of detail and work in our Islamic factions, and as you have probably guessed, we may be extending our list to more than three. They are by no means generic, they each have radical changes and huge tech and unit rosters that makes them almost have the content of three factions each. Haven't you seen our Complete Muslim Project? Plus the mongols will be represented fairly and in as much detail as each of our other factions. This is no longer a solely European mod, things have been changed, changed very much to the liking of you guys. But enough, wait for the preview .

To be fair though, it wasn't actually a BTW member who said that. ROC is already dead, and if possible I think it would be great to see my two favourite surviving mods merge; imagine DOTS with Basileia's unique settlements!
Of course, the choice is down to the respective teams, but as Basileia is a largely German project, DOTS could also stand to gain a large German fanbase from a merger...
Either way, I look forward to the main preview, and the final release!

Actually we had been starting to look into unique settlements anyway, but oth3rwise i agree.
