Hey people,
I want to see your battles worth of rememberance here! Have you fought any crucial and massive battles with gazzilions of soldiers recently? Have you been forced into battle with immersive numbers of enemies or against much stronger army - and you still were able to win? Or at least you took many of those bastards with you? This is the place for you to post your screenies here and share your feelings, maybe little AAR if you wish. To share your tactical experience and strategic knowledge! Im vying for your posts!
But before it all begins, as the one who starts this topic I would like, if any possible, to postulate something like "rules" for posting into this forum, to keep it serious and on certain level.
1) Please post only relevant battles, where AI is not in considerable disadvantage. Winning killing thousands while loosing a few soldiers in bridge or mountain battle shows no strategic or tactical knowledge - and therefore Im not interested in it. Therefore: NO BRIDGE OR SLOPE BATTLES! Please.
2) If you post screenies, try to post also the screenshot with final screen (result scroll etc.). This one shouldt be BY ANY MEANS modified, cut or whatever. There should be EVERYTHING visible - unit cards of your army, minimap, battlefield and also, most importantly, the final result scroll.
3) This is not so serious rule, but it still should be obeyed. Please try to pick only battles where you stood against some real and serious threat, which forced you to employ tactics, to do the best you can to win. Winning against 8000 thousand of levy pikemen lead by captains with the preatorian legion lead by your best general is nothing that would astonish me, so I bet you understand this type of battle is nothing for this topic.
4) For somewhat civilised and "standardised" look of the topic please try to post your screenies in 1024x768. If you have no experience with this, try www.imageshack.us and pick "resize" option, for instance.
Here we go then, let me start with an example:
What is most funny about this is the fact that Amulius Julius, one of my best generals, desserted the very next turn. Lol!
