Is there a way to add units from Americas/Crusade to Vanilla?

Anyone know how? Sorry for the cross-post, but it seems few people read the Kingdoms forum.

Yeah, you'll have to un-pack vanilla, which takes forever. Then delete a few files so that it doesn't crash your game after unpacking. (Look carefully through the unpacker read-me to know what those files are.)

You will basically take the models, the textures, the unit cards, and the descr from the descr file and copy and paste it into vanilla's descr file for them to work.

That descr file will include all the info about who can recruit the units, (which factions,) which building produces them (stable, etc) and how powerful they are (shield rating, charge bonus etc.)

With a few minor tweaks, mainly copying/pasting, it's easily done.
It sounds more complicated than it really is, once you get past the initial learning curve it's like riding a bicycle. Wow, that was easy!

Yes, I've unpacked and edited descr files before.

I just don't know where to put the texture/model files. I tried putting them in the same folder (well, same folder in my mod folder), but had crashes.
