    Default Palin Baby Controversy

An admittedly a terrible source is reporting some very interesting and very possible news regarding the newly selected Republican Vice Presidential nominee. Despite originating for an incredibly left wing, usually wrong, source the story has a lot of elements that ring true.

    http://www.digitaljournal.com/article/259222

Theres alot of sense to the accusations. Flying while 8 months pregnant is very very dangerous for the baby and no sane mother would every do that. There are many pictures of Palin during her pregnancy. None of them show her looking even remotely pregnant. Yet several of her daughter show her with a fairly sizable bulge.

    Daughter Before Supposed Pregnancy:

There's a lot of circumstantial evidence pointing to this being true. Not to mention apparently in Alaska the media was reporting the story at the time of the birth.

On the other side of the coin. You'd have to assume McCain's campaign thoroughly checked her out and would of found all this out if it were true and wouldn't have chosen her with this sort of story just waiting to surface. It will be interesting if the mainstream media in the US will investigate it further.

If the Dems start dragging her teenage daughter into this race with smears like this, its a guaranteed loser.

Also the chances of a healthy teenager giving birth to a down syndrome baby are slim. Whereas it's a significant risk factor for Palin at age 44.

It is a low chance but the chance still exists The fact that she was flying at 8 months is very vr powerful evidence. Not to mention the photos showing no signs of pregnancy. The more children a women has the larger her belly gets when she is pregnant. For a women how has had 4 children the fifth will make her balloon up. She should have had looked this:

This type of comment is why Sen. Obama suggest that we keep the families of candidates out of the debate. Especially the children.

Thanks for proving the point. No more such posts -- please.

Oh, and before you mention it -- there is a difference between what you are allowed to do and what is right. It is called good jedgement.

Daily Kos was one of the first to report on this and they quote the following:

This is an interesting point, as chances of having offspring with Down's Syndrome increases from under 1% to 3% after a mother reaches the age of 40. However, 80% of the cases of Down's Syndrome are in mother's under the age of 35, through sheer quantities of births in this age group.
There is a lot of circumstantial evidence in this particular affair, but you can bet that people are going to be jumping on it. I doubt the Obama camp wishes to be directly involved, but given the mudslinging that American politics can sometimes be, there are bound to be Democrats that can't wait to get back at people like Karl Rove for what they did to people like John Kerry, Al Gore and other democrats..

In any case, it'll be a case to keep an eye on..

I can really recommend reading the article on DailyKos: http://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/8...137/486/580223

They don't hide the fact that they're biased, but they bring up a few interesting points..

EDIT: Also, Danzig pointed to the photograph of the girl after the baby was born, look at the other pictures on this website: http://www.mccainblogette.com/

The girl is the one holding the baby in all the picture. That doesn't necessarily mean anything (I doubt her mother would want to be photographed next to McCain while cradling a baby), but it's fascinating nonetheless..

    Especially interesting:

Actually those photos in that link have all her daughters holding the baby at one time (check the captions) including smallest one Piper. As you said though it doesnt mean anything since there are photos of Palin feeding the kid as well, clearly she isnt going to be holding a baby all the time. And charigenl it would indeed be a big deal if it was even remotely true, even if the goal would be to protect her daughter...clearly if this fantasy WAS true Palin would have little business being vp regardless of the motive. Dailykos however is simply being dailykos (or the left wing version of lgf) and attempting to connect dots that dont connect.

The chances of this 17 year old girl(then 16) giving birth to a down syndrome baby are as follows....
    At age twenty you had a 99.95 percent chance of not delivering a baby with Down syndrome;
    Link

The fact that Palin was 43-which equals high risk and her daughter 16-which equals a .05% of a chance or lower. Convinces me this is bull, and just a pathetic attempt by the left to destroy this family's reputation.

Yeah I actually welcome this avenue of attack on Palin because Ill laugh my ass off in Nov. If leftwing/dem even try this they will indeed have found another way to lose an election they should have won.

Obama haters? Accusing the woman of not being pregnant and the baby not being her...what exactly do you expect? Its even more idiotic then Obama=muslim crap. Oh fyi baby was born 6 lbs 2 oz.

Does she look 7 months pregnant?

No, Danzig, I mean that a conversation about the 2008 Elections always ends up with the Obama side and McCain side bashing each other

Danzig, Obama hasn't mentioned this...I don't see what the has to do with it. Its just a conspiracy theory...but I still deduce that the picture that I posted above is wrong, and not taken when she was pregnant. I doubt even Kidman is 7 months in that pic...

I didnt say he did was commenting to Obama hater comment which attilavolciak07 cleared up what he meant after, no harm no foul Yeah Kidman no way looks 7 months either but shrug she evidently was. Some women just dont so, combine the fact the baby was born relatively small and the picture itself is dark clothing and from the front taking anything from it is as you say a conspiracy theory.

Danzig, I already explained the size thing. Women who haven't had children before or have only had one typically show less than those that have had oh, lets say 4. But no has addressed the biggest issue. No sane mother would risk her child by flying from Alaska to Texas at 8 months pregnant.
Shouldnt fly yes but some women do do it...so you questioning her judgement for it is fair but the fact people will go aha it means she wasnt really pregnant is a huge stretch is it not?

Care to share the evidence of the fact her daughter missed 8 months of school?
Was actually 4 months and due to mono according to actual news sites.

lol there is nothing wrong with what palin did -- helping her daughter take care of her out of wedlock baby--- but she lied to save face; we know how republicans love to fixate on non-issues

so the facts about palin and her kids track, bristol, willow, and piper from parents sarah and todd LOL ( and baby trig from young mom bristol --(the chicken of bristol as she is known in alaskan circles) ( seriously this is a judgement issue naming your kids like this shows a clear malfunction in thinking)

oh yeah more evidence -- bristol took 8 months off of school for "mono" and 85percent of all babys born with downs 85 percent occur in women under 35
