Like when a kings marries the daughter of another noble house, and their offspring can rule both kingdoms .. surely that's happened in the past.
Is that possible im M2TW? can it be scripted?
Thanks

No and no. Faction heir is hardcoded, and the character is only active for a single faction at a time. If someone switched trees like that, the faction would be eliminated.
Lusted seems to ask the same question in this thread: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...highlight=pope
The proposed way of implementing it, with the command give_everything_to_faction, combined with some condition that checks for a princess marrying, might work, if what you want to happen is you taking all of their land. It's a curious example, if I wasn't so caught up in coding rather than scripting at the moment I'd go delving for potential ways to add traits and counters to a faction that can be checked along with the FactionLeader trait in order to define if the person she married becomes king.

What i want to see is that in 1500 something when princesses reach a certain age they can become queens maybe not go into battle but never the less still queen (i don't know maybe some feminists may like the idea of queens going into battle...
maybe a good idea for a poll....

I don't think he was saying it hasn't happened historically, just that in his endeavors, that exact course of action isn't possible to replicate in the code.
Well you can't do anything about the Agents, they're hardcoded. You can have a female-dominated society though, by:
- Changing the character portraits to all be female, and the "female" portrait to be a male.
- Making the model and skin for the general units used a female
- Making the character names in the descr_names female and the ones under female, male
- Modifying some of the events like character gives birth and such to better fit.
- Modifying the princesses model/skin/portrait to look like a guy.
That would be the gist of it, the game doesn't actually determine gender, there's just a lot of different things that contribute to that illusion. You could have a faction of all females or all males, as long as you changed the proper things.
Oh, and use the Edit Post button at the bottom right of your post to make changes, like I did to write this line.
