    Default Modification of UI?

My question is if it is possible to modify the UI by text editing, in the same way that menus are moddable in mtw2.lnt.

I know the basics of aspect modification, but what I'm wondering is if it is possible to delete or to change the position of one or several buttons in the UI. :hmmm:

I don't know if this affects the campaign UI, but your best bet is the Medieval II Total War/data/menu/mtw2.lnt file.

you need a image editing program to edit ui, like gimp or photoshop.

But not to change the position of buttons.

Does anyone know which file controls the yellow text (for the Turn number and the name of the character/settlement you have selected) on the strat map UI interface?

    Cheers

That's one of the questions I'm wondering. I would like to substitute completely the turn number by the season/date system. And maybe more...

Why substitute? You can display dates regardless.

    Anyway I thought mtw2.int regulated menu/button positions.

Yes, I know I can display, but I don't like very much the position and the way the season/year appear.
Moreover, I'd like to change the season symbol by a text, changeable by script and describing the month (if it were possible). I imagine that it would be only possible if we can define a new "UI_DUMMY_TEXT" or something like that, and include it in menu.txt.

I've tried to find the UI in mtw2.lnt was I was unable.
Any idea about the name of <lpage>? Or it is coded in a different way?:hmmm:
