Recruitment problem with Teutonic Order

Here's the situation:

Playing with Teutonic Order. I have three fortresses in my eastern part of the empire, Konigsberg, Vilnius, and Smolensk. I also just captured a castle (Skara) from the Danes. Now, I'm trying to recruit the Order Spearmen. When I captured Skara and checked their recruitment tab, I saw that I would be able to recruit Order Spearmen from there. The picture for the unit was greyed out but I'd be able to start getting them in 3 turns. Then I went to my three fortresses and checked to see if I'd be able to get the same units there. I have all the pre-requisite buildings but I do not see the unit card in their recruitment tabs, not even a greyed-out picture. I double checked the buildings and indeed I have Barracks in all three strongholds, and it says in the description of the building that it will enable me to recruit the order spearmen, however, I don't see any indication that they will become available even in a few turns.

Any suggestions or ideas on this?

I'm not using BYG III though, just Real Recruitment.

Anyway, the problem seems to have resolved itself. I'm able to recruit order spearmen at all my castles/fortresses now.

Iirc, there was another post about this somewhere. I don't use RR myself so i'm not overly familiar, but I remember that the problem was Order Spearmen were classed as a proffessional unit that wouldn't be recruitable for a while (until the Dante's birth event or something). You probably reached that point and they suddenly became available.

I have this same problem with Lithuanian Noble Cavalry. I can get the dismounted nobles fine, but I have 3 squads of unretrainable cavalry that i'd really like to use.

In the early game, I could recruit them, now I've upgraded all my castles to fortresses or above, I can't do a thing with them.
