[discussion] YATS, TFT or Imperium?

Hi everyone

i wondered what you like the most?

We have 3 Roman RPG's that are a bit alike.
There is the first, named You are the Senate (yats)
then we have the second one, called The First Triumvirate (TFT)
and then the newest one, named Imperium

Now i wondered which of the 3 you like the most

So vote and discuss!

I like TFT the best, but you can't really compare TFT to YATS or Imperium... Well, not anymore.

I like them all, but I'm currently playing TFT, so I voted TFT.
All of them are good in one way or another, there's no point in comparing them.

i voted for non of them. the only thing is see whit such an organizations is a lot of problems.

havn' t had any fun with it, it took for ages to set up a game and when the game finaly started the save didn' t get to the other people. very slow game play.

I vote Imperium as I have found it easier to get involved in, well thats out of my personal experience. Other people will be different no doubt.

Ah you should have waited Imp hasnt started really yet so....ya. But you have to understand they are all different games especially TFT. YATS is specifically centered on the Roman senate while Imperium is on the whole of the Roman world. Also Imperium will never restart just keep plodding on realistic.

Here's how I see them, and correct me if I'm wrong:

You are the Senate is for the more historically minded rper who wants to focus on the affairs of politics, war, as well as all the behind the scenes powerplays and backstabs. YATS is also quite open to change and will sometimes reform, every once in a while drastically.

Imperium is a lot like YATS, except with a much slower pace, and a less historical emphasis in favor of expanding to more areas of Roman life, such as the inclusion of a monetary system for bribes as well as throwing games.

The First Triumvirate is for those who only like the multiplayer campaign component, and want to play a campaign without all the roleplaying mess (not that it's a mess )
