Seriously, when was the last time somebody asked that kind of question and got an answer that was not a variation of "It will be ready when it's ready" ?

Much of the fuss with Heg in the days before I joined was caused by giving previews and setting dates (even tentatives ones) which weren't met for a variety of reasons. So, we are not going to make the same mistake, because even a vague date is considered a "promise to deliver" and if it's not met, whining and screaming and criticising starts and that's just bad for our morale.

Friendly note, addressed generally and not to any person specificly: Don't forget that a mod doesn't HAVE to be released - ever - at all; modders make it out of their own free time and energy for themselves, without anything as a reward, so technically, if the mod was simply shut down this very moment and we just said "well, we're fed up, we're quitting", it would still be perfectly fine and we would have to answer to nobody. Same thing goes for delaying. Do realise it's getting a bit annoying to see people asking the same question over and over. Believe me, when we are there, we will tell you, we won't keep it a secret!

That being siad, release is closer than ever; and more stable as well. We do have a horizon, but we'll just keep it to ourselves until we're sure well deliver before then.

You can now add as many "he he he" as you want.

You know, you don't have to scold me over it.
I've already stated that I support you guys taking all the time you need because Heg is going to be worth the wait, but forgive me for thinking maybe you had come up with a possible release date since I last asked back in February (the 25th, at 10:18 PM Pacific standard time, to be exact) of this year.

And again, take all the time you guys need, because Hegemonia City States will be worth the wait.

Absouloutly! I couldn't agree more, no mod is forcing itself to be released, that would be thick! Imagine if they released now, and after all the whining, it turned out to be shoddy (not saying it is ) because they didn't spend enough time finishing it because of the pressure put on them.
