    Default installing BI

    it seems like it is only possible to install BI on my C drive while the rtw game is installed on an other drive. is it possible to chose where to install BI ore is some thing wrong with my disk ore settings? as i can not chose where to install BI i guess some thing is wrong with my disk some help would be great.

    What operating system are you using.

    Not being rude - but some details would be great! Otherwise you are just wasting your time and ours by posting.

    What version of RTW and RTW BI do you have.

    Where did you install the RTW to?

    By default I think the RTW BI will only install over the default location that RTW was placed in. It is an expansion after all not a full game.

    i am using rtw patched to version 1.5
    i have the bi dvd disck

    i installe my rome tw game version 1.5 on my F drive. but when i install BI it installes it self on my C drive. the problem is i can' t choose where i want to install BI to.

    Copy the RTW onto your 'c' drive and your RTW BI should install over that.

    yeah i know but i want a clean install of rtw with bi so i can install multiepel mods for bi. but when you copy the folder with the bi install it won't work.

    If you've got a RTW 1.5 RTW BI 1.6 install you can copy that just about anywhere and apply a mod over it.

    Did you try and copy the RTW game onto the standard folder on the 'C' drive? Were you able to install RTW BI over that.

    yes it workt like this thx for the help. hm hm stupid me i could have figuret this out my self it was easy.

    Sometimes the easiest solution is not obvious. Good to hear than you've installed OK.

    yeah every thing went smooth. i can make more then one folder with for more then one mod so every thing is oke.
