diplomatic_stance <faction_a> <faction_b> <allied/neutral/war> :I'm more of a fan of the World Map/Campiagn when it comes to Total War games, even dated back to Shogun.Set the diplomatic stance between the two factions (factions must be different)
But, sadly, I always get a bit flustered at how Diplomacy/AI works.
In a simplified sense, I feel that they gear the game to challenge [you] the player, but don't truly make your game feel as though the counties are reasoning with each other over what would be an ideal choice of action.
---------------------------------------------
Example; Most Campaigns I encounter several factions near each other, yet they all go head long war at me, for extended periods of time. They hardly ever ask for a truce despite their loses, and they rarely focus on another near by faction while I'm in the picture.
So that's why my question is at first generalized around that 'cheat code" working, and then to follow up if it doesn't...what would be a sound solution for my dilemma?
