is this a good moddification for M2TW kingdoms ?
i actually downloaded it last night so im trying it right now
give me advise on whats your favorite faction and why please

It's the best M2TW mod. That's why everybody is here.

For starters try somebody obvious like France or England.

And go to submods forum to read about BYG mods and RC/RR mods, they are something making the biggest difference to gameplay and you probably won't get it all yourself without reading release notes.

If you want even more challenge, check out the 'mini-mods' section. - talking about the mini-mods, check out the latest garrison script too -

I'm playing with the Order of the nights templar and until now everything is very intense, battles, campaign, etc, so try that.... play it on 'early campaign' if you like micromanagement.

if not, the always popular Byzantine empire... or even norway could be of fun too...

For sub-mods use the same reasoning that brought you to SS in the first place, level of interest.
As for faction, give Aragon a go, close access by land or sea to the Islamic world, a good mix of units and awesome natural defenses to the North.

Go into the 6.1 thread and the patch is right there along with the 6.0 download. Don't forget S.S. is a two part download. Also, the patch has some cool mini-mods in it you have the option of installing if you want. I suggest you read up on them to see what you want and what they do and so on...
Such as permanent arrows, Stainless Steel Total Combat, and Bygs Grim Reality(I don't remember if it's version II or III) lots of good stuff. Also I would suggest the blood and dirt mini mod and the stone forts mini mods.(They're Great) Faction leaders mod is cool too. So much to choose from and it's your first run through. I envy you. No, I hate you!!!
