Questions about editing time, faction members age, and displaying of time

Hello, i recently started playing M2 again. i dont have kingdoms but i plan to purchase it soon.

I am on vanilla M2, the only things i have edited so far are the time and playable factions. i changed the time from 2.00 to 0.25 so i think that is 4 times a year, as i prefer longer campaigns.

The UI still displays the time in turns instead of years. How do i change it? Also I like the game to progress slower and the characters to age relative to the time progression.

Also, im interested in what kind of good simple mods you would recommend i add to M2 as i thoroughly enjoy modding the total war games. i had a blast with Rome and all the interesting mods this community has to offer.

Near the top of descr_strat.txt, there is a line which is commented out (anulled) with a semi-colon in front of it. It says something about years, I can't remeber the exact text. But you will be able to tell just by reading it what the line does. Remove the semicolon, and the line will become active, and the date will be displayed in years.
